DARLINGTON – Myrtle M. Doty, 92, formerly of Darlington, died Friday in the home of Mrs. Berneice Voris at Crawfordsville. Mrs. Doty was a life resident of Montgomery and Boone counties and a member of Darlington Congregational Christian Church. She was born on Aug. 15, 1881, in Montgomery County, a daughter of Ines and Martha Booher. She married Orville J. Doty on Aug. 3, 1905, at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death in March 1959. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Freda) Cosby of Crawfordsville; a brother, Marshall Booher of Frankfort, a granddaughter and a great-grandson. She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Burkhart Funeral Home here with the Rev. Kenneth Buser officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. – jlr
